Chevrolet usually comes up first when 1957 cars are discussed, because of its classic style and 283 V8. But Ford, with its brand-new body and flared fins, came back and actually outsold Chevy that year. It had an optional 312 cu. in. T-bird engine and a retractable steel-top convertible that was half a century ahead of its time. (The top mechanism was a bear to maintain, but it was a bright idea.) Ford’s bug-eyed headlights marred an otherwise beautiful design, but all-in-all, the Fairlane simply had more flair. Edition limited to 28. Like all CCI images, this comes with a numbered, signed Certificate of Authenticity. Low numbers available.
