The Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance is over this year, but a straggler 1959 XK150 remains on the green (shudder).  It must belong to the head groundskeeper who hit reverse while trying to get the bloody thing into first.  He got infected with the classic car bug after working the event for the past two decades.  One of 6 Jaguar illustrations in our collection (Sir Willam Lyons never missed a beat), this one beautifully represents the late ‘50s (it’s a ’59) and the California lifestyle.  Artwork limited to 29 pieces, each one accompanied by a sequentially numbered Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
