Chrysler introduced a streamlined car called Airflow in 1934, designed to cheat the wind.  It wasn’t pretty, but it started the idea of rounding corners and reducing ‘drag’, to enable cars to go faster and get better mileage at the same time.  It didn’t sell cuz it was, well, ugly.  Decades later two motorcycle racers figured out how to clean the air going into their engines, thereby reducing maintenance and increasing power.  And then, unlike Chrysler engineers so many years before, they figured out how to make their air filters pretty, so car guys could pop the hood and friends could say ‘wow’.  Their brand became synonymous with engine performance.  Now you can have an image of a classic K&N air filter.  It’s so pretty you can hang it in your office, family room, den or living room and nobody will know that you’re a gearhead at heart.  Edition limited to 25 … comes with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity personally signed by the digital artist.
