A couple of blocks from the water in downtown San Diego we find a 1946 Pontiac Streamliner Station Wagon. It’s 2014, and one car lover has restored this gorgeous relic from the heady days just after WWII. The car’s design harkens to the pre-war years of course, as Detroit is just about to develop more modern body styles after its shutdown to produce aircraft, tanks and other war materiale. The ‘Streamliner’ name seems a bit incongruous today, but doesn’t this Pontiac fit in beautifully with San Diego’s resurrected downtown? Image on gallery-wrapped canvas, ready to hang. Limited edition of 46. Signed, numbered Certificate of Authenticity included. Low numbers available.
