The wonderful images on this site were generated over a period of years, beginning in 2007. The hotshot behind these works is a long-retired Mad Man (as in Madison Avenue) named Gordon “Endless” Summer. He’s worked for national advertisers like the CBS Television Network, Gillette, J&B, Kodak, Pepsi-Cola, Sony, Sunkist, Toys ‘R’ Us and more. His strategic creations were recognized as “Best Promotional Marketing Campaign in the World” and “Best of the Decade” by the American Marketing Association, Advertising Age and Marketing Communications Executives International.
But he’s a car guy at heart. He partnered with the King of the Kustomizers, George Barris, to design and build a renowned parade vehicle and for years commuted to work in customized hotrods. He’s owned classics too, and served as a Board Member and Judge for the prestigious La Jolla Concours d’Elegance.
Today Gordon’s automotive art appears in homes and offices from New York to Los Angeles, to his adopted hometown of San Diego, where selected pieces are featured at the San Diego Automotive Museum and decorate the walls of the Center City Re/Max headquarters.
Limited editions of his work are available on photo paper, canvas, metal or acrylic in a wide array of sizes to suit any décor. Or you may choose to have him create artistic representations of your personal classic or exotic cars in his “Your Car’s a Star” program. All will enhance your collector car garage, or even your living or family room, den, office, or believe it or not, kitchen or bath. (Take a look at the pieces entitled Steamed Veggies, Proper Picnic or Got a ‘Z’/Gotta ‘P’.)
These images of “rolling art” make terrific gifts for car lovers. Enjoy your visit with us!
